Mission

Students Helping Student Succeed

The Office of Success Programs’ mission is to support the transition and academic success of undergraduate students at Georgia Tech To accomplish this mission, The Office of Success Programs offers a variety of programs and services. Students are initially introduced to our office through FASET, our orientation program and Freshman Convocation, the official opening of the academic year. In addition, we coordinate GT 1000, Adjustment to College Life: Freshman Seminar and a variety of academic support services available to all students including 1-to-1 Tutoring, and academic counseling. Staff members work with a number of student groups including the FASET Cabinet and Leaders, GT 1000 Team Leaders & TL Advisory Board, Freshman Council, and two Freshman Honor Societies: Phi Eta Sigma and NSCS (The National Society of Collegiate Scholars). Staff members assist students with a variety of academic related challenges they face including managing their time, organizational skills, learning styles and conquering academic stress.
