The Office of Success Programs offers free tutoring to all Georgia Tech undergraduate students. Tutoring is offered in over 70 courses, with special emphasis on introductory courses. Tutors in Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, ECE, ME, as well as other courses are available to meet with a student for a one hour session each week. All of our tutors are accomplished undergraduate or graduate students.

 FALL 2009 Tutoring begins August 26th at 9am.

Tutoring Policies

• 1-to-1 Tutoring is only available to registered Georgia Tech students.

• Students are allowed one (1) hour long tutoring session per week.

• Please arrive at the scheduled tutoring session 10 minutes prior to the start of the appointment. Please plan to bring your textbook and other class materials.

• If it is necessary to cancel an appointment, please contact the 1 to 1 Tutoring office at least 24hrs. prior to the scheduled appointment.

• Failure to attend a tutoring session without canceling with the 1 to 1 Tutoring office by phone or email at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment time will result in a $15 fee charged to your buzz card to cover the cost of paying the tutor and administrative overhead.

• Tutors and office staff reserve the right to cancel a student's session with a tutor due to frequent cancellations, tardiness, by request of the tutor or the student, or under extenuating circumstances.

• Complaints, problems, and issues concerning tutoring services, tutors, on-line scheduling, or any other matter pertaining to 1 to 1 Tutoring should be referred to tutoring@vpss.gatech.edu or 404-385-0041

• If a course or time is NOT available for you, it may be possible to make special arrangements. Please email us at tutoring@vpss.gatech.edu and describe your request, including the course name and number as well as any other additional information. We will get back to you in a timely manner.
